ASK Capital began as a vertically integrated real estate venture. This provided exposure to diverse real estate specialties such as distressed property sourcing, renovation, development, financing, sales and property management.

Our Founder and CEO, Schelton Assoumou, has over 20 years of investment banking, private equity, entrepreneurship, real estate development and investing. Schelton holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and bachelor degrees in both Business Administration and Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
A wall street veteran, Mr Assoumou was an investment banker at JP Morgan where he amassed over 10 years of experience in investment coverage, structured finance, capital markets and leveraged finance and was responsible for the execution of over $25 billion of lead-managed ABS transactions and the origination, execution and marketing of over $9 billion of high yield bond offerings and leveraged loan syndications.
For the last 13 years, he has been involved in the strategic planning, business development and operations of every facet of real estate industry such as acquisitions, valuation, construction, financing, property management and sales. He has successfully navigated through challenging personal and enterprise turnaround and repositioning of over 120 distressed New York area assets totaling over $100 million in renovated value.
Schelton’s academic and professional experience coupled with successfully navigating personal challenges has become competitive advantage.
